Ning peeps!  I have the whole weekend off  waytogo

We have friends from Oregon here for a visit.   Vino!

Monday through Wednesday I am working in the warehouse at work.  Sit at a desk for 8 hours, help a few people, and surf the interwebs!

TiNi how many days now?

Hey Paula

It was good to meet you

I'm sorry I had to bail like that

It was nice to finally meet you too, I'm sorry the timing didn't work out better (traffic bang head)  but I'm sure there will be another time. Smiley

I hope you enjoy my mountain

;-D

Verrrrry nice. waytogo  Hiked a good ways up it this morning before heading to the airport, and of course I enjoyed the short ride.  The drive was pretty good too (especially up to the hotel and back), even in an underpowered rental car, but I think next time I may ride up from home. Cool

I just test rode a GS1200

Not really sure why I ride a sport bike!

That thing was fantastic.

No, and I'm told they are *very* different. This was not quantified, either. But I assume its a bit less refined. I'm looking for a 1200, myself. The market is pretty good for 'em right now, and it fits me well, I'm just waiting on funds. I don't want to finance a toy, even if it will be a primary commuter.

Also, I had reviewed the 1200 here.

Finally got a some of the honeymoon pics resized so I can post them without causing bandwidth failure.  Look for a post coming soon.  It's not a ton of them, but a few to represent each island we visited as well as the boat ~

So many improvements in the 1200.  I wouldn't consider the 1150 unless it was an absolutly a (here is a stack of cash to take it off my hands) smokin' deal.

What year is the 1200 you looked at?  ('08's squeeze out a few more horses, and fixed a problem in the drivetrain.)

Also, look at the 800.  Very close power:weight ratios to 1200.

Thanks for the info.

I think I will stay away from the 1150 due to what you guys have said, along with it's a lot heavier (So the dealer says). I don't weigh a whole lot, so less weight is better for me.

I test rode one at Moto Ohio, so I am guessing an 09?

It was pretty damn nice, I was amazed at how well it handled.

Mrincredible,

SF bay area option on Craigslist. There are a number of 1200's with all the bags and a few other goodies for 8-12k.
