i have a question


what exactly is a "holla back girl"

the only thing i have succesfully deduced is that gwen stefani is not one.

Gwen Stefani uses the term brilliantly in her song "Hollaback Girl", both as a simile and a metaphor. She's letting the guys know that she ain't a booty call and that she's not gonna be sitting around waiting for them to “holla back”. She's “been around the track a few times” so it's not gonna happen again. She uses the cheerleading terminology as a metaphor, she's a “squad” leader not a follower.

Now, it means a girl doesn't stand up for herself, allowing guys to do whatever they want with her and she follows them, 'holla back' at them.

Tried to be responsible, and did some chores.  By the time I was done, it started raining.

All cleared up now.  Might get out for a quick ride in a little bit.

Everning. Was going to go for a ride today too, but rain thwarted my attempts.
I am, however, in the process of rebuilding my pre-war (supposedly) cruiser bike coaster hub. Little disintegrated bits and a broken clutch spring inside. New parts found, and am installing now...
