I would not suggest waking her to ask.

She'll just make you look dumber when she pulls it out of the correct cabinet...

and then pummels you with it. ;)

You are very correct.

She keeps all manuals to everything we own, I just don't know where they are.

god no I am not waking her, she'd beat me down then Alex would bite a finger off.

I am just relaxing with Greta on the couch.

I'll probably head to Caribou for some coffee and take Greta to the dog park before others show up. Ohio is a church state, so all proper citizens are in the house of worship now.

Greta and I are looked down upon at the park among other dog owners.

apparently the memo that doberman's are actually nice dogs never got circulated  :(

Most Dobies aren't...

and it's the owners that make them like that.

Exactly.

Every dobe I have been around has been a loving dog, more than most.

They just have that reputation for some reason and I don't know why. They aren't even on the top 10 bite list.

It's just sort of depressing sometimes. She is VERY sensitive and when people say things about her, she gets sad. I know most will think I am crazy for saying that, but dogs know when people don't speak kindly of them or I am a loon (probably a bit of both).

It just gets tiresome of having to plan my public outings with my dog around others ignorance.

We were talking about dogs understanding just the other day.

It's said that goldens understand close to 150 words...don't really want to get in to a technical debate about tone/vocabulary.

I wouldn't be surprised if all domesticated animals understand some words.

I had a couple of pigs that were smarter than most people.

I agree with you. Animals clearly understand tone and words. Greta is really really sensitive to tone. My parents lab is even more sensitive. It is odd.

I always thought pigs were the smartest animal, at least that is what school told me. Have no idea if it is true or not.

Alright, I am off. Greta knows we are going somewhere, she is prancing and whining.

later nate.  [thumbsup]

You should head to Mass and pick up a couple puppies. ;)

yup...

I'm missing out on all the costs involved with dog ownership.

Like I said...

I'm good with that.

yeah, dogs are/can be expensive.

We spend about 125$ a month on our two.

It doesn't help when I refuse to buy cheaper dog food. A 40# bag for Greta costs about 57$.

I don't mind spending it though. I don't feed myself crap food, why should my dog deserve any less?
