So, it's apparently a bit warm in San Diego for bicycle commuting on a hilly route with a heavy backpack while wearing business clothes. [roll] [cheeky]

Managed to give myself some metal splinters with a bit of frayed cable as I was unfolding the bike too. :P

Nate, glad to hear your garden is doing well too. [thumbsup]

We've fought the fight this year (weeds, pests, weather) and things are doing pretty well because of it.

We were pretty lucky in our first year, still battling pests but we will have a better plan for them next year.

Just annoying at this point, I got the worst of it out with some nail clippers (they were brand-new as I bought them to replace the ones in Kazakhstan).  Still a bit left, there's a CVS down the street if necessary.
