You are most definitely the yellow cup  [laugh]

I, sadly, am the green cup most mornings. And that's with full-caf.  :-\

I'm gonna get a big head.  Mostly I hope for more money, a raise.  Student sent this to work:

Dear Red Cross,
I tried to fill out the online survey, but site seems to be down.

Wednesday I took the First Aid/CPR class in Redmond , WA at the YWCA Family Center .  Mary was the Red Cross Rep teaching the course.

She was awesome!!!  I would love to take another class from her.  She knew her stuff inside and out.  It is great when someone has job experience and then teaches.  She was very outgoing, patient, and made the class a lot of fun.  She was well organized, the class had a great flow, she was very positive and encouraging.

I'm taking the WOFA through the Mountaineers to get my WFR certificate.  She informed us that she is teaching that for Red Cross.  I wish I had known and I wish schedules were posted on your website.  It would be so worth it to pay a little more to take the class from her!!

Sincerely, James

Congrats!
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

We hear when things go bad.  Good to hear the nice once in a while too.  How is your new job?  Did the details get worked out?

Me too. Rarely a good word spoken. Then I started asking around for letters of recommendation from folks I had worked with. The praise I received was just amazingly generous. It did a lot to help restore my confidence.

Remember, for everyone you teach that actually goes to the trouble of putting in writing how great you are, there are probably 100 who thought it.

Off to walk Owen.  I have to catch a urine sample for the vet.  Easy with a 100 pound dog, it just keeps coming and coming.

Later.

Past two days have been a total waste with regards to work.

I have to coat a tank tonight. :-\

I'll check in while it's drying.

I am officially on "vacation"!  It feels great. I received a Navy Achievement Medal today. Had a nice talk with the C.O. about my future and what he thinks my strengths and weaknesses are. Told him what I thought about the command and how things could be better.

Also, picked up the final 490 sqft of sod that will go down today. Then, other than watering, the front yard is done...
