Evening all.  Any one used a heated vest?  I am thinking of getting one.  Any recommendations?  (I would post this in "Gear", but DP usually just answers all of my questions any way.  Maybe I should just PM him directly with all of my questions  ;D)

I've got almost all the Gerbing set now - pant liners, jacket liner and now glove liners.  Works very well.

Used it on a 17F morning, on the highway at 65 mph (= @ -9F windchill), and was still comfortable.

The temp controller is a must.  Sometimes the stuff can work too well.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Don't bother, they're both good winter tires.  The Audi would climb trees with four of 'em

You could, but it might not be your best option.
