I'm a Reservist now. It's much mo betta. I'm in Alabama, with the Monster and Miata, and spend my (very little) free time playing.
how's the Honda coming along?

Sorry to hear of the job related news Stew.  Guess it will be time to send the SC up to you once you get caught up on pre-existing orders.  ;)

And on my side:  Found out the job I was trying/hoping to get in DC isn't going to happen.  The hiring authority wrote the job description for me and submitted it, but big air force denied funding for the position.   :-\

+1 on the good vibes to you, Stew, and to you too, DRKWNG -- I know you were getting excited about that move. I do hope something very cool pans out in the new year for both of you.

'Round here, I just heard that the PR firm that a couple of partners & I been trying to get off the ground won its first (very small) paying contract. I said no more pro-bono work, and I meant it!

Ning peeps!  23 and clear here.  Dry too.

Stew just think off all the moto work you can now get done.

Pip I sewed on sgt at 3 years and tested for staff and would have sewn it on at 4 and a half, but got out at 4.

Hang in there, it will happen.

I want SNOW.  That is all.

Good Evening all.

How is everyone? My laptop is finally operational and I can now relax in my own little world here in Djibouti.

And, after dinner tonight, I'm going to grab a few beers at the Cantina and relax.

How's everyone?

Sorry to hear your news, Stu. Glad Flight Cycles is busy.

Randimus Maximus

Fack!

The Randimus was rear ended on his way to work this morning.

-7* does wonder for black ice!

I'm fine, although I'm sure I'll have a sore/stiff neck tomorrow.  Chiropractor appt. was already set for Friday.

My company car likely needs a new rear bumper cover.  Their car has a good shot at being totalled.

Hey Slowpoke, glad you're online again.  Hey Bick, Swampy, LMT, Pip, and anyone else online this am.   :)

Enjoy the snow days those of you who have them.  Hey DP, is Z helping you clean the house?   [laugh]  That message is too funny...

Sorry to hear, Randimus!  You ok?  That's so annoying...

It was literally freezing here yesterday morning.  Being in SoCal, I didn't leave extra time to scrape my windshield and break into my car--which was frozen shut.  Weird, but kinda fun.

Back to the books. Got a lab final today and a lecture final Monday and Yoga Teacher Training all weekend (=not much time to study).  Wish me luck!

Have a day!

Out showing off the safety features and build quality of Toyota?

Glad you are ok.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

The trip was... interesting. Seeing family and seeing the Taj Mahal and other historical stuff again was a lot of fun. I got sick twice though, and I'm still recovering. The pollution and crowding over there are horrible, but it's amazing how much it's changed. Weird juxtaposition of the 21st and 19th centuries.

Part of me has always wanted to visit, and part of me would rather avoid the filth, crowds and potential illness.  Is it worth the trip?

Welcome back, btw.  Hope you are feeling better.

Yep, and I'm pretty sure that's case for most parents with children that age...though I've seen some kids that are more destructive than others.  Hell, I don't even have kids and my house is a mess.  Can't imagine it WITH children around.

Oh, PS--Thank you, Short Bus Bacon Junkie, for doing the dishes last night.   [clap]
