we are NoT burning the car  [laugh]

Burning car, Burning Man (East)... not too far a stretch from one to the other. The car is safe as long as you're OK with lots of weird art, nudity and body paint in your yard. Well, OK, the car's not all that safe then either.

Will probably get the same reaction I got over Christmas, tried to explain that not all the presents under the tree were for him ;D

Our 15 year old was born on December 25; she was about 5 or 6 before she realized that the whole world-wide celebration wasn't just because people were really, really excited about her birthday.

Morning, All. I poured a big full travel mug of coffee before heading out this morning and left it sitting on the counter.  >:(

"...wasn't planning on burning your car..." Going on record early for the accidental ignition defense, I see...

if all goes as planned the car won't be burnt and should be in tact....mostly.

And everyone else of course.   ;)   Post and run.  Stuff to do, places to go, people to meet (because I didn't get enough of that in Vegas this w/end).

Post n run.

Got info at Home Depot on blowing in some insulation.

I have more ice build up on the eves than I think is ok.  I got up in the attic yesterday and confirmed it does have cellulose insulation now, but only about 2-4" worth.

A rockin R6 or R8 I'd guess.

Gonna use this stuff called AttiCat (it's pink of course) and it expands 16x it's packaged size.

Gotta measure things up to see what we'll need but I think it will be a huge improvement.

Cross your fingers for me :D

Make sure you don't block off the soffit vents, if there are any

There are none.

No ridge vent either.

Just some small slatted vent type things on either end of the attic.

We're not planning to stay here more than a couple years.

make the beast with two backs it :D

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Life was simpler when gable vents were enough. ;)

EveNing.  Tired, very tired.  Failed one student, only 5 of the 12 were native English speakers, and I has no lunch.

( not trying to start anything, it's just that the testing takes longer and is harder for me if there are a bunch of students that need help understanding)

Better day tomorrow.

Better day tomorrow.

I hope this for you.

I am off to bed now.

One weekend/month, two weeks in the summer...  MY ASS!!!  (But enjoying every minute of it!)
