I was the voice of the Seattle Red Cross today.  I sat at the front desk today and mainly answered the phone and helped the walkins.  Next week I am in the front office all week.  We are short staffed due to illness.

Amazing how many people drink during the day.  One guy signing up for a class later in the month reeked of booze.

Now I am going to

I spent all day thinking it was Tues-nes-turday.  I had to ask people if it was Friday today....twice.

Yes, it is amazing.  One of the guys doing the electrical rewiring in our apt reeked as well.  I'm sure booze and electricity don't mix too well.

Lately, it's all about the $$$$$ in the Republic of California. 

PRoH is like that as well.  They announced that they were going to hold on to everyone's state income tax returns until the July (the beginning of the fiscal year down here) to offset some of the deficit that the state has found itself with.  The interesting part is that the fine print said that people would then receive their state tax returns on a first come first serve basis, and that there was no promise that everyone would actually be getting theirs.  Makes me happy to not be a legal resident here.

it's been 3 wks since the bf left, n i'm still not able to sleep well. it drives me nuts

i finally gave in and got my gigantic puppy doll out the closet, so i can mimic sleeping next to him.  

You can have my actual puppy if that would help you.

Wanted to go to Alice in Chains show tonight in Denver.  I didn't anticipate them selling out the venue.    Looked on CL, made some offers, but was too late.  I'm not in the mood to deal with scalpers in the snow and cold tonight.

Oh well, Big Head Todd & The Monsters show is tomorrow in Boulder, and I have tix for that!
