The cycle sucks!

Jump off everything is what I say........Ambien had me by the BALLS for 6 months....towards the end I had to double up my dose just to get 1/2 a nights sleep.  Went to a Chinese apothocary and they hooked me up with some herbs that worked......not as good as ambien but helped ease the week without sleep as I made the transition.

I am actually thinking about taking Yoga or even exercising....Mt biking season is right around the corner.

I tried Straterra and I knew right away it wasnt going to work.....

So...

whatcha gonna do to break the cycle?

Going to weigh my options after 5 months post op, is what the doctor said is my recovery time for full healing time.

What is working right now make the beast with two backsing sucks and makes me miserable. At least I have a supportive wife and 1.5 dogs to help get me by. For some reason, they know when I don't feel good. It's pretty amazing when they know when you don't feel good.

I take one med begrudgingly.

What are you gonna do when you get to be my age?

If you don't jump off their wheel you'll be a walking pharmacy.

I agree with you.

I need to get my shoulder issue sorted out and then work on the other issues I have. That is my number one concern right now.

I have heard conflicting accounts with pain med doctors. Some are not just "take this narcotic every day and live life"

Some actually are in to alternative forms of medicine, which is what I am looking for. The Doctor I am going to see was referred by my Internal Med Doc, who is an old school doctor that is not in to pain meds as the solution, which is breath of fresh air based on what my Ortho Doc said.

Tell 'em you'll come in, but you'll need Monday off to look for a new job.

They'll stop calling.

i'm trying to keep my foot in the door in another dept (and they want me there)... just waiting for that billet to open, so i've got my fingers crossed.

yes, I went it. after telling the sup that he needed to find a monkey to do the job, and I was only going in to write the program.

and then it turned out I already had that part on file, so it was about two minutes of actual work.

I agree they do have a different agenda.

This one med I am on right now is about the most potent anti-inflammatory med made. I can't think of the name and don't feel like getting up to go look at the bottle. This shit is nasty on your stomach. So aside from eating prior taking, what do I have to do?

Take Zantac 75 to help counteract the adverse stomach effects.

So yeah......I agree to an extent with you........taking one med leads to another which leads to another......etc.

Like when I was on that Straterra.......had to go on a high strength anti-anxiety to counteract the anxiety it caused.

It is a cycle that continues.

god, that sounds like the nsaid I'm on... I have to eat when I take it, and have an Rx med for my stomach if it doesn't want to play nice

It doesn't make you a bad person ;D

BTW...make sure they pay you for the minimum OT and not the 1/2 hour you were there.

That's one of the main reasons I'm not at the fab shop anymore.

In NH they're supposed to pay you for a min of 4 hrs if they have you come in.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Take Zantac 75 or CVS/Walgreen generic the store sells 2x a day.

Make sure you take your medicine halfway through your meal.

Take the Ant-acid 2x a day, morning and dinner.

I like to always take before my medication.

The one I am on is Indomethacin.

I guess it is about the strongest anti-inflammatory out there. Most commonly used for people with Gaut.
