101 here in DC!  I have tried to spend as much time outside as possible.  We were supposed to go to the Duc Pond Ducati shop today, but no, everyone wanted to go wine tasting.  Next trip I am renting a car and taking myself to the good places.

The lack of internet has been interesting.  The brother in laws wife works for the gov at Langley and they are not allowed internet at home if there is any work done at home. 

Back to my normal routine on Wednesday.

I sadly didn't get a ride.  I have to put 100 miles on my truck before it can be inspected.  So, I spent the day cleaning and running errands to get miles on the truck.  I've managed 77 at the moment ~

How come you have to put a certain amount of miles on?

In NC, if your check engine light comes on, you have to fix it and put 100 miles on it before it will pass inspection.  They automatically fail any car with the check engine on if it's 1990 or newer ~

I just want to drink coffee, read the Times and Post, walk everywhere and be warm.  And see some Ducati shops.  Good trip so far.  The postal museum was cool.  Julia Childs kitchen is in stroage and that part of the Smithsonian is under renovation.  No spell check here.

if you run out of windshield washer fluid, it beeps every 10 minutes until you fill it...
