Judd it is all sentimentalist mythology gurged up by hollywood that your love and caring can change someone. Someone has to already be up for change...they need to show up first.

The simple truth is that people change themselves when and ONLY when, the consequences of their behavior outweigh any return they get by indulging their addictions or other messy pathologies.

If someone refuses to show up for themselves and you are showing up for them...well from where they see things you are ripe for mis-use, abuse, and manipulation.

I have buried one younger sister and I have another I wish was either done or dead...don't go to dry-wells looking for water

nope...

I started it. Does that count? :P

My new helmet and gloves should be in on Tuesday.

My old helmet was 10 years old, and the gloves were rotted.

I have a track day next Monday. I should probably at least ride a motorcycle before that. ;D
