That really was a wake up call.  Surprising how much speed you pickup when you get comfortable with a track.  No reason to hit those speeds and not be able to get the smile we're looking for.

You think I wanted to sit the day out?

If I had been on a lower powered bike I would have run the tires I had.

The 996 has given me new perspective on the life of tires.

It's just not worth taking the chance any more to me.

Completely understand, your bike has so much more power and you can move it around the track rather quickly.  That can get you in trouble rather quickly.

The only thing you could do to extend the tire life is get tire warmers but that's not really an option for you.

Well, I'm done for the night,

NING

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it
