Finding someone near your own age is an important thing (I'm finding this out the older I get...).

Off to do my errands today and maybe some moto-work too.  [thumbsup]
I beg to differ  ;D

My wife and I are perhaps the exception to the rule however, it works because we're both probably insane and the idea of getting married started as a joke.
going on 15 years now and it's still funny.  8)

Me too!!!

+1 (or am I 3 or 4?)

There was a substantial age difference in the last 2 relationships.  Both fairly long term.

It's just the personality.  Age has nothing to do with it.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I am 6 years older then L.  It has not been an issue for us, and 6 is not a big gap.  18 seems like it could be.

You are right, it can work if the people work. I do not predict long term togetherness for our friends.

Age differences can matter.

Back when I was dating an 18 year old and a 36 year old, it was like night and day.  ;D
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Wow!  You dated Mrs. Robinson.

once you get past 30ish anyone under 25 is prob going to seem like not a good match in everyday life.

however, i'll take a nice 22 yr old for a couple of nights and see how things go.

I've tried...

older women...

younger women...

women my own age.

It isn't about age.
