Ladder programming is a type of 'machine language' used by PLC's.  PLC's are tiny computers that are used in industry to control large machines with many inputs and outputs and they can do computations and comparisons.

That's basically what I do.
Try working with alpha product that is massively buggy sometime, it's a blast.  bang head
