Mel,

How many rounds is your event this evening? ;D

That is some nasty shit.

I worked on some missile parts that had been stored in AZ someplace and had to be decontaminated.

I made the mistake of chuckling about it in front of the owner of the company and received the obligatory lecture.

Riding acquaintance of mine up here in NY lost his son to it...sent him out east to their summer home on Shelter Island to open it up for the season...doctors couldn't diagnose it until they autopsied the boy...never see it up here so they didn't think to test for it
This is an insult to the Pez community

I just sneeze and get stuffed up from being near it.
I'm also barely affected by spider bites, which is good because every time I work in the basement here, I go down there with a push broom and spin the webs up like cotton candy there are so many.
My body is unusually strong against certain stuff but makes up for it with other issues.

snipped from old NYTimes article
The disease was first detected in the United States in 1993, when an outbreak involving over a dozen cases in the Southwest gave the virus widespread notoriety. There have now been 106 confirmed cases nationwide, with most in the Southwest but a few elsewhere, including Florida and New York.

The previous case in New York, also a fatality, involved David Rosenberg, a 22-year-old Brown University student who is thought to have acquired the disease at his family's vacation home in January 1994 on Shelter Island, in Suffolk.

Scientists are unsure exactly why the disease sometimes occurs in geographic clusters, as it did in the Southwest, or why two cases have now occurred in Suffolk County over 16 months. By looking at mouse blood samples the state has collected since 1984 in its effort to track Lyme disease, researchers say that Hanta virus has been carried by a significant percentage of mice in Suffolk County at least since then.

Would serve you right  :)
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

this house does have a questionable past.
if there are any here, they are quiet and quite lazy.
