Grilled chicken and salad fixins from the garden.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Wouldn't salad fixins automatically mean  [bacon] ?

Unless she raises pigs in her garden, I'm guessing no.   [cheeky]

I really really hate skunks.

There is this little make the beast with two backser that lives around my condo and now the past few nights he has been out in full swing.

Last year, I almost got sprayed walking to my car in the morning on the way to work.

Almost been sprayed walking my dogs.

Not to mention, in my suburbia hell, we have an overpopulation of deer and coyotes that freely roam.

My neighbor and his dog got circled and cornered by 4 of them last year. Thank god he has an American Bulldog that eventually scared them off, as well as him whipping them with the leash.

I digress.

I just had Greta out for her last pottie break of the night (always carry when walking dogs at night for fear of said coyotes) and what do I smell that make the beast with two backsing skunk.

So I turn around and immediately take Greta back inside.

I had a nice bead on that little make the beast with two backser from about 20 feet off my condo patio with my LED mag night and my Glock 19.

I would have loved to see what a Hornaday hollowpoint would have done to that make the beast with two backser.

However, common sense prevailed over stupidity for once in my life.

That skunk will live to spray another day.

You know coyote attacks on adults are basically unheard of, right?

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

They may not attack adults very much but JudDddd's short enough to pass for a child, which they will stalk and attack.

We carry at night when we take the dog out too. The coyotes can be pretty brazen, they've come all the way up to the house numerous times at night.

Coyote attacks on humans are uncommon and rarely cause serious injuries, due to the relatively small size of the coyote. However, coyote attacks on humans have increased since 1998 in the state of California. Data from USDA Wildlife Services, the California Department of Fish & Game, and other sources show that while 41 attacks occurred during the period of 1988-1997, 48 attacks were verified from 1998 through 2003. The majority of these incidents occurred in Southern California near the suburban-wildland interface.

There are only two recorded fatalities in North America from coyote attacks.[60] In 1981 in Glendale, California, a coyote attacked toddler Kelly Keen, who was rescued by her father, but died in surgery due to blood loss and a broken neck.
