Right now the taxes are $560 a year. All wooded, no structures.

After we build I expect that would change to $1500 or so.

It's why we specifically wanted property in this township.

Known for low taxes :)

It's a real problem here.

My buddy Rick(848) lives on the hill and has a really nice log on about 10 acres.

He's selling his place because the taxes have reached 9K.

He'll buy a place in FL and stay in his motorhome up here in the summer rather than the reverse.

He figures he'll save 25K a year in taxes and fees.

I'm paying 3K for a falling down house on just under 4 acres.

Morning.  Wife and I adopted a boxer/shephard mix puppy.  Cute little thing it is.

A Siamese cat bit my index finger hard and deep yesterday and my knuckle is still twice its normal size and super stiff.
