Hotel has free bacon!

(coffee & other breakfast items too but they're just so-so compared to bacon!)

Thanks ya'll who were/are concerned/helping out.

We are (myself and the newly christened Mrs. Pants) currently in the France for a family emergency.

Mrs. Pants' step mother passed away due to complications from cancer. Funeral was Monday, and I'm here for morale support and other assorted non-French speaking duties. We flew straight over three days after our wedding in Hawaii (for those of you who don't know, I'm from Hawaii, and Mrs. Pants is from France). Freakin' long flight(s), and a few forfeitures of existing airline tickets.

I'll be here for another week, then head back to Denverville, but Mrs. Pants will be here until Mid-September to help her Dad sort out residual affairs. The whole experience has been rather surreal, and made even more strange that we had a wedding and a funeral in the same week, on pretty much opposite sides of the world.

Thanks for letting me ramble after not really posting for months.

Anyway, AfterNing, EverNing, NingNing, etc... It's like 11:00 PM here in FranceLand.

Later folksies. So glad we have teh interwebs out here in the French countryside/farmville.

Congrats Mr Wedded Pants!

I can't believe that I just applied for a barista job at Starbucks.  It is all online now.  I hope as an ex shift supervisor that they hire me back.  Full medical, etc at 20 hours.  Plus one pound of beans a week!  It would tide me over till the December/January time frame.  I will be done with school and my internship then.

Hey Stella, how did the interview go?  The background profile stuff sounded harsh.
