Very good, been getting around 50 mpg into work and 46 or so home pretty consistently. The avg mpg reading the car calculates is surprising accurate and the speedo is dead on based on comparing it to my Tomtom GPS, odd for a VW I thought they all read 10% high.
The best thing is that this car handles so damn good, pick a gear hold it through the corner, and torque out of it like a slingshot.
