been working in the yard most of the day.

removing an old fence (most had been removed 'cept the wood posts) and brush/stumps along that fence line.  What a PITA.

lowering the sewer cleanout pipes so I don't whack my shins on them any more.

all the while, a HUGE wildfire is raging up in a canyon n/w of Boulder.  Near an area I was just mountain biking in last weekend.  many homes lost already.  high winds, steep hills, rocky terrain = no containment yet.  air tankers were just given the okay to take off (were grounded due to 45mph winds).  one fire truck has been lost to the fire.

not good.

Boy I'm going trough there in a couple of days or at least I was planning on it, coming through on the 70. Maybe I won't go that way. I guess I should drop down to I-40 instead.

Im feeling like that wasn't a long enough weekend.

70 runs south of where the fire is so it's not impacting traffic.  If you're in the Denver area, stop by or give a call!

My wife's car isn't so new anymore

>:(

some jackoff at work smacked it today in the parking lot with his door. Did some nice damage.

He didn't even have the courtesy to leave a note.

Too bad she is friends with the security people (she used to work in bank security.....alarm monitoring) and they got him ID'd on surveillance camera.

the worst part is part of the damage is on the decal.

god damnit.

Meh, when I get a new to me car I typically just put a big ole scratch on it to get it over with. Saves the frustration  :D
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I wish I could say it was just a scratch.

it is effing nasty looking and dented. I have no idea what the kid did to accomplish this, but he sure did a damn good job.

It almost looks like hit it pulling in and then put a huge 7in scratch on it.
