he's a 60 year old redneck with his 3rd pacemaker and a heart condition and borderline diabetes and chews Red Man tobacco like it is going out of style and does very poorly with sticking to any kind of dietary rules that are layed out for him and uses up his vacation time and whatnot every year for the past 5 in being sick and going to Dr. appointments because he doesn't do what he should be doing....so it is a day or 2 here...day or 3 there....and his reliability of memory and other functions are getting affected too...ask him what he did 30 years ago, you get a detailed acct, no problem...ask him what he did 30 mins ago...he stumbles trying to remember...I just get tired of it...

Sounds like it's time to replace him with a robot?

maybe...I just get tired of picking up the slack he leaves now...the scenario is getting old and to me it is a hard decision as to whether or not he is more of a liability or an assett...if you asked me a couple years ago...I'd have fought for his behalf and said he was still an assett...nowadays,...I begin to question it all....he is a valuable informational resource with his 35+ years of knowledge....when needed...but damn...his reliability is what forces me to just throw up my hands and say "make the beast with two backs it" and not give a flying rats ass and think that it is all for nothing...

I am just frustrated...

I can see...

Not sure what to say

this seems like one of those things you just ride out and wait for it to correct itself

More Ning, All.

Off to blow dead leaves off the trees.  ;D

Hope Stella got all the dead leaf pics she wanted this year.  [evil]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Morning, peeps!

I wish the Advil Cold & Sinus blend were more effective at taking care of me at the moment.

That is all.

I'm off to work.

KnightofNi

I had to get a new phone. The crackberry was just old and crochety so it refused to work a lot of times when I needed it to.
Now I have a fancy samsung epic th hat I can view web pages for real on.

Also, I can listen to internet radio at work again!

Pretty good Phillip.

How's the new job going?

It's been going pretty well, TY for asking.

This is my first foray into the industrial world, and needless to say the learning curve has been steep. They've still got me on part time, and I think I may have a move to a new state in the near future, so I'm not sure how long ths will last. It is nice having a way to pay the bills, tho. I feel for the people who aren't so lucky.
