Sometimes...

I hate it when I'm right. :-\

Did they not have an acceptable breakfast out for you when you showed up?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Got to work this morning and asked my buddy if he had heard about the furniture coming.

He got that 'look' on his face and said we were gonna clean up and load out all the tools...we were done...he wasn't gonna work around any more shit...and we did.

We're outta there.

I guess I'll find out more next week sometime.

Kind of a tough way to end the job. I hope they're paid up.

Sorry to hear about the job, dp.

Contractor/client relationships are not always pretty.

Everning.   [wine]

Dinner at LA Bistro (aka my kitchen) was awesome as always.

Wild salmon over a pecerino dill rissotto and asparagas.

Ice cream on amazons to be served up in a bit.

The Bacon Junkie

It was a sad sad day. :'(

At least the company is still operating.

It was, but the two girls I trained right before I left are amazing.  They're still teaching and driving the buses.

I now have my own classroom and get to positively influence my kids for 6-8 hours every day, instead of just a 1/2 hour per week.  Plus, I don't have the "Owner's" title/job of overseeing/fixing everything.  My stress level is WAAAY down, and I have really good bene's now.   I really miss it, but I'm in a better place in my life now.  I still do the gymnastics thing on Saturdays, though.  [thumbsup] ;D

One day, I'm gonna make out to your place and me and Z are gonna eat some bacon and I'll give him some new ways to make your heart skip a beat!   [evil]

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

They're really nice people.

My boss/buddy has a lot going on lately and is probably trying to make a point.

I know I don't want to work around piles of furniture.

The trim isn't done and we had a couple more guys coming Monday to finish that off while we went out and built the entry deck and the back deck. There is also a bunch of urethane to do.

Keep in mind the decks are like the staircase and railings. All made out of cedar logs and rough hemlock, with PT under.

That stuff takes time.
