17 outside here right now.  The snow is still on the ground.  I love it.  I just hope L's folks can drive here tomorrow for Thanksgiving.  The rest of our guest all live within walking distance.


[coffee]  , lots of  [coffee] and then I am off and running to get everything ready!

On my way home last night - 1st, with the aid of telephone pole, STS - sub compact conversion. 

Not more than 2 miles later, 5 car high impact interaction.

On dry roads, with almost no traffic!

It's a balmy 8 degrees here

The last car we saw in the ditch was an Acura RSX with 3 russian teenagers

"we came up to look at the snow"

This struck me as funny since I didn't figure russians would have any interest in looking at snow

I would judge them more harshly if my 35's weren't just as bald and ineffective as their brand new NT555's

The temp is rapidly rising its all the way up to 11.3 now. I tried to teach my wife to slide around in the snow last night but she didn't want to, just wanted to go home. Since I cant get 4WD drive to engage, sliding around is what I have to do.

And a compassionate and helpful crowd â€" as usual!     [thumbsup]

I posted the other day on the AZ board about a need for temporary/inexpensive housing for a close Denver friend who's husband was in a bicycle accident this weekend in Tucson and will be in the hospital there indefinitely.  DMF'ers are coming out of the woodwork with housing options or other resources.
