Instead, I get to go to a wedding.  L's cousin is getting married and that aunt and uncle sent us a very long letter on the eve of our ceremony.  I got called a rejector of christ.  Kinda funny seeing as how I was raised southern baptist and my one true wish in life is to be a hospital pastor.  That was 16 years ago so I guess I should get over it, but I do not want to.  I am wearing a new dress and leaving the dog at home.

Yeah, it's a previous one I left to move to CA. Only left for that reason.

How often do you guys go out? I was pissed about my last ship. We NEVER hit a port unless we we on cruise...

last year, we were out 70% of the year. We rarely get more than 3 weeks straight home. We're lucking out soon. We're going to get 5 weeks in port. But, it's upkeep time. All inport time is "upkeep." Lots of paint, preserve, maint. Makes the time go by fast. I feel like I'm still new and I hit my halfway point of 1 year in a month. In 4 months, I'll be negotiating for next.
