Q5 has our interest peaked now as it can be had nicely loaded up for cheaper than the Touareg and still has a decent tow rating.
Didn't realize how big that Q7 is, feels like your sitting in a school bus when you look in the rearview. The Q5 seems like the Goldilocks sized option.

A guy at work just got an A4 after having his A3 for a bunch of years, he is regretting it now because the A4 acts a little more buttoned down and mature. He keeps asking how my Golf TDI feels squirting through traffic.
In my case, my wife only got the Mazda 2 years ago but it was a step back from the GTI due to situations at the time, so we think it might be time to move forward plus I'm getting rid of the truck so it would be good to have a vehicle than can do truck things if need be.

i very rarely use the back seats in the a4
it's not a huge car, but definitely bigger than needed

it's hard to believe we've had the Focus for 8 years...it's probably time, but it needs to run quite a while longer.

The pick up will be 3 years this summer. I wish I'd gone for 4wd...hindsight.

My truck is 12 years old now, the 13k I paid for it brand new has paid for itself twice over as far as I'm concerned. Every time I use it something else breaks now, the brake lines rotting was the proverbial straw.

we don't get all the models and cool drivetrain choices the rest of the world gets.
