It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I didnt forget... but..

ITS NOT THURSDAY YET  :P

Been tweakin' the thermostat, have we??  [roll]
Nope...it is set at a very modest 600 F daytime and 50 at night.

I did say 2-3 days. I guess temps pushed it towards the 2 end of things.

I was surprised too.

BRRRRRR!

Damn. 60?

That's what we put ours down to when we're not home :o

With this old place you can set the temp wherever and it never gets any warmer inside.

The only way to warm it up is with a  woodstove glowing red. :P

MoreNing.   [bang]

Looks like 3-4" of white stuff out there, and everyone forgot how to drive in it.

We leave our thermostat at 64.  Had it lower, but it takes too long for the furnace to bring the house back up to temp.

I wanna go back to bed and wake up when its spring.

How do you determine how long "too long" is?

You did say that your 5 gallon purchase lasted 2-3 days, yup.

Now remind Mr Forgetful here.... just how many gallons (on my excellent advice) did you buy this last time, hmmm?

Furnace would run continuously for an hour or more to bring house from 60 to 68.

My rational was leave the set back higher and it won't have to run as long, but still use the same amount of fuel (run more fequent during the day).

So the benefit here is that you're warmer faster?

Good benefit :)
