power came back exactly at 7am

I haven't heard that we had any confirmed tornados but in driving around yesterday and seeing 2 and 3 foot diameter trees down tells me some wicked shit was going down

Nasty. We get our share of wicked shit too, but fortunately no tornados (or none that you'd consider worthy of mention).

No damgage at your home?

The worst always avoids us, something weird about the terrain or something, plus it would take quite something to damage this place.

I imagine it takes "quite something" to uproot 2 and 3 foot diameter trees.

the wet spring has contributed to that.

I wasn't inferring the storms weren't severe.

It's just easier to pull roots out of mud. ;)

We haven't had so severe storms yet, just lots and lots of rain, but, trees seem to just 'fall down' ... And this usually means electricity outages and broken water lines ...
