I know. got a msg from my mom's friend's son. he moved away for a reason. people jsut don't seem to like the area. though i have only really talked to the not so conservative ones. (mom is the exception)

Miata's have two fans at the radiator. One dedicated to the radiator, and one additional for the A/C condensor/radiator which comes on upon A/C activation. Rad fan was fine, but my A/C fan was dead, so I replaced it... now the dedicated radiator fan is dead.  [bang]

most japanese vehicles will do that ... at times with minutes of replacing the damaged one ... that's how I met my wife ... cause a fan ...
