I've actually made bacon beer before... It's very not bad!  :D 


I used maple cured bacon.  It softened the sharpness of the beer a bit and gave it a creamyish texture. [thumbsup]

Ni, iirc you mentioned a while back that you had a $55k moto crash medical bill and paid $5k(?) out of pocket?

My boyfriend just got the bill for his moto crash hand/arm surgery: $37k total, $2k out of pocket.  Stay tuned for the ER + trauma team bill...

Thanks AJ. Picked up a sampler pack of Breckenridge Brewing beers. Their Vanilla Porter is delicious.  [drink]

My other local favorite so far is Odell's Levity Amber Ale. It's surprisingly light, but really tasty.

Okay, now I needs me a beer. And then I think it's time to call it a night. Another day of unpacking and organizing ahead of me. How in the hell does one person accumulate so much crap?

And I had some beer I was having with breakfast (okay, yeah?)
So I put some bacon in a glass (yeah, uh-huh...) and I poured in the beer (yeah,beer,okay)
And I thought, "You know who would like this bacon beer?" (yeah,who?)
ME! So I drank it!  (NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!)

Like I said, AJ....  It was very not bad!   ;D

Moving doesn't suck,  it's all the organizing, packing, lifting, loading, unloading, unpacking, and re-organizing that can suck my left one...  :P

But, if I have [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] and [drink] [drink] [drink] I can usually manage.   ;)
