On your honor, I'll purchase a couple of Foster's[only Aussie available] and toast to your health !

I'm honoured indeed  .

But dont waste your money on Fosters, just piss in an empty can and serve chilled.  Much cheaper.  Same taste (so I'm told  ).

I'll send the wine, you send the meat and we'll toast the southern hemisphere (and northern too)!   



A few more chores on the list today besides the work thing.  Neighbor's basement is a victim
of the massive amounts of rain we had yesterday.  They're out of the country so I'm working
on that clean up.  Anyone have a spare dehumidifier or two?

I love Oz, ungeheuer, but I don't love Aussie "beer" 

Stubbies, though, are a great solution to the battle between cold beer & scorching heat.  I did a double take the first time I saw a flat of stubbies, I was expecting just a six pack of regular cans 

But what's the humidity factor, average ..

I've only been to Darwin in the dry - humidity was pretty low, around 25%, with chance of rain at 0% for 5 months.  The wet is a monsoon. I did a lot of backpacking (Kakadu, have you been unge?) and almost everywhere I hiked in the dry is underwater in the wet.  My Aussie friend got a bit repetitive "in the wet, this is a lake...in the wet, this is under 20 feet of raging waterfall..."


Hmmm, sounds like Denver wants to be Darwin.  Good luck with the cleanup Stella!

Thanks Carlos, but I prefer my water in the ocean, where it belongs.  Hence going to Darwin in the *dry*, and moving to California

I have experienced Panamanian rain...and having our car break down in a flooded road...that was plenty for me.

I'm a proud Panamanian and for what I can see you're a proud American, so ... let's be Ducati owners-rider friends, have a few cold ones and leave this geographical nonsense behind, before the mods say something ...
