I have an approved septic design.

Next step...building permit.

Are you digging it, or hiring it out?

I need to talk to a couple of guys to see how bad they'd bend me over..

I've been working with an old buck on that other house job that performs magic with an excavator. It's really amazing to watch.

In NH you can install your own system. I may rent a machine and have this guy do the digging on a weekend/evenings after work. I suck with heavy equipment.

It all comes down to price.

This process is going to be slower than I had hoped. :-\

We still have to finish that other job.

The thing is tiny...

7x30...presby advanced...5 runs of 30'

I want to have someone do all the digging at once. I need to find out how the co-op wants to run power and I have a water line too, which will be somewhat of a PITA trying to make a timely switch from old house to new.

I'll most likely have to get a machine a second time to backfill as the state inspector will take a while.

I should have quite a pile of loam though...I have plans for most of it. Things need some smoothing up around here. ;)
