Where you been hiding?

Not hiding, just not participating here. First house, Jacob in school, new pup, and health issues have kept me busy.

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

KT, I also have a spare room, but, doubt you want to travel 3000miles to 'unwind' ...

Riding from Pennsylvania to Panama will definitely help Tut with this part of his quest:

the logistics of this are mind boggling. though i guess as long as i could get a ton of money saved i could just kinda do it.
gotta look up the laws regarding vehicle entry and exit from diff countries.

also need to find out how to not get kidnapped or held for ransom anywhere along the way

Dude, logistics are easy.
1) passport
2) cash
3) travel health insurance
4) credit card
5) learn some key words in Spanish
6) proof of moto ownership/insurance
7) pick up local maps along the way!

As for not being moto-jacked:
blend in
...wait, you're ginger aren't you...
look as much like a broke-ass hippie as you can
;D
