And to lighten things up further, had dinner w/another friend tonight who's been battling cancer and other associated issues and he's agreed, finally, to get a second opinion â€" which we all, his meddling loving friends, believe he needs.     [thumbsup]  

May lead to the same recommendations for further treatment but the rest of us (because it's about us, not him) feel better about another opinion.   ;)

There is a little paved trail near the house.  We walk 2 miles on it 3 days a week with the dog

i had a friend who's advances i have blatantly said no to offer to beat up the last girl who hurt me. it wasn't actually so much of an offer as it was a threat against her should she show up again. thanks to that emotions were remembered and i'm all whacked again.

i thought as we approached our 30's these things would fade. and why is it the women that always have my back and not my male friends? (not a complaint, just wondering how that works)

time to crawl into a hole for a while and not interact with humans directly.
