I only worked half a day today. As you may remember, I was home alone all weekend. I had to come and walk the dog at lunch, pick up the mess I made over the weekend, and then go to the airport to get L.

I got a sad call this morning. Our 2 cats live with L's folks out in the burbs. We moved here with 3 pets and can only have 2 at the condo. Since the cats were in/out, they went to live with grandma and grandpa. They have lived the life of kitty luxury for almost 5 years now. Henrietta is 19 and dying. She will probably not make it through the night. We spent the after noon out there with her. She has had a good long life. She even lived right next door to an Oakland, CA Hells Angel and lived to tell about it! So did I!  She does not seem to be in pain. If it gets to that point, the vet will come out and give here a shot and that will be that.

Go kiss your pets and thank them for all they bring to us. Henny Penny was a good cat.
