I did absolutely nothing today and it was glorious :D

We finished backfilling and have a final grade for the slab.

Monday we'll push some electrical conduit into the sand and add some piers for posts under the carrying beams.

Then vapor barrier, foam, and pex.

Then we wait for the crete guy and some decent weather.

Moto GP day at the Island today.

Of course its freezing cold and pissing down in true mid-winter fashion as is traditional on this day every year.

Every year for four days prior the local roads begin to fill up with sodden  [Dolph] [Dolph] [Dolph] and the equivalent multiple of hungry  [leo].  This year the weather allowed them to arrive in the dry, lulled them into thinking Southern Victoria is not Siberia after all.... and then rewarded their foolishly premature optimism with the usual icy torrents for race day.  Its cruel.

Bureau says "scattered showers with local hail and thunder, more frequent in the south... temps 12 to 17". They were absolutely right about the more widespread in the south bit  [laugh].  Nine degres celsius in my back yard, cant see yonder hills for the grey of the rain.

Anyway.... great that you're making progress, getting stuff done DP.
