if you want to temporarily fix the post time, you can go into your forum preferences and add 7 to the time offset field. e.g. my offset is normally 0 so i set it to +7, yours on the east coast is likely +3 so it would be +10. This will break the time in the upper right but make the post times read correctly.

err, scratch that. it's *negative* 7. so my 0 becomes -7 and your +3 would become -4
