He ran over something that tore up some wiring

some long piece of metal tore up through a plastic belly pan under the passenger seat and tore apart some wires.
big BANG followed by flashing lights
I pulled over, shut the car down, jacked it up, cut off what remained of a broken connector, wire nutted the wires back together and zip tied the whole mess back up so it wasn't touching the ground. Slowed me down by maybe 15 minutes. Checked the code later that was stored (the fix got rid of the flashing lights) and it was the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

I'm so friggin' scattered right now from everything that's going on it's ridiculous.

Of all the projects I've ever undertaken this one is providing the most stress I've ever felt.

Add in the fact I'm a month behind and it gets even more fun.

The consolation is the end result.

I'm going to be warm next winter. ;D
