well, that throws out my guess.

either way, shouldn't the engineer types have procedures for us monkeys to do everything short of the potty?   :P

My procedure for this instance involves firing his dumb ass.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Duuude-we work on fragile things that cost 7 figures, and over-torquing can ruin them. He needs to be able to be able to turn his wrench the correct way.

He's been working here for five years.

Imagine if you had a delivery driver and one day he takes you for a ride and you realize he doesn't know which pedal is which.

This is terrifying to me.

Maybe you gave the "tighter" signal when you meant to be signalling "loosen"?

Last trip my crane operator hit "up" on the controls when I instructed "down".

In less than two seconds we had almost torn 200 million dollars in half.

I was surprised I wasn't fired over it.
I see a pattern developing...

How's the carpentry business?
Pretty good.

We should stand up some walls this morning after we figure out how we're gonna brace them.

Hard to do on a slab that has few interior walls and no floor covering.
