Nope...

looks like wooden clapboards with fake grain and everything.

It's blind nailed like clapboards. It must be kept painted though because the cement is mixed with cellulose.

It goes to hell if the paint fails.

I'd love to put cedar clapboards on the house, but the price and quality of what you can buy today don't make it the best choice.
