I used to have a DV1000... my senior year of High School. I think it's just time for you to get a new laptop.

I have discovered that no matter how much water I drink beforehand, if I drink even one beer, I will have a headache the next morning. Any ideas as to why this is? Anyone else suffer with this as well?

You're not drinking enough beer. You need to get in good drinking shape. Water is nasty. Fish crap and have sex in water. Think about it. [laugh]

I do.

I typically don't drink much beer because of this.  It's not the water, or the level of hydration.

For me, and likely you as well, it's an allergic reaction to something in the beer you're drinking.  Preservatives, wheat, barley, hops whatever.

Does it happen with all beer, or just certain ones?

It's all beer. I never thought of allergies... That would explain alot. It doesn't happen with wine or liquor.

Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

I have trouble with red wines as well.  Lady that ran a winery we were at once told me it was the histamines in the skins of the grape, or maybe it was my body producing histamines because of something in the grape skin.

In any case, you'll just have to try different beers and then stick with what works and doesn't give you a headache.

Beers with no preservatives seem good to me (Straubs from PA if you can get it)  I also seem to be able to drink Yuengline black and tan's without an issue.

On the other hand, i like corona which lead to a liking of bud-lime.  Didn't used to bother me, but now I get a small head ache after one of them.

Regular bud. . . [puke] I can't get through half a can without a really bad head ache.  I'd sooner put a gun in my mouth than drink that stuff [laugh]

Good luck [thumbsup]
