If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The Bacon Junkie

Last night here in this house...

I'm camping out in a sleeping bag on the floor.

Tomorrow morning I load up a couple of bins and backpacks into my truck, then I'm gone.

I'll be staying in SB with SacDuc and Polpetta for a few days before heading cross country back to Connecticut.  Not sure of my exact route, but Albuquerque is a definite stop. Everything else is open.  Looks like the 999 will be making the trip with me...

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

We got the beam and a few rafters up end of last week and the rest of the rafters yesterday.

We wanted to start sheathing the roof, but it started to rain.

If you're planning an attic space and a tin roof

make sure there is a LOT of ventilation otherwise you could start a greenhouse for mold spore

The house will require an air handler/HRV. It's being built way too tight for windows/drafts/vents to be sufficient

It will be in that attic space, and be controlled rather than just allowing nature to take its' course. ;)

Because of the 'unusual' construction techniques, the possibility for failure is huge.

I'm still taking some risks, but if the air handler is set up right and exchanges the air on the proper schedule...

what could go wrong?  ;D I'm still trying to decide if I want to go with continuous ventilation or an on/off scenario.

Take a chance...Columbus did. [laugh]
