35 sheets go quick if you do them 5 at a time
You are correct.

Can you demonstrate for me so I can copy your technique?

you have enough stuff there to build something to do it

I put 20 something 30 foot long trusses up for the front half of my garage by myself
I kept the old flat roof by supporting the ends underneath with pillars made from block and then cut it away from the walls.
I replaced the walls, making them an inch higher than the old flat roof
I mounted an old car waterpump on top of one wall
dragged my engine hoist on top of the old roof as a high anchor point
ran a rope down to the ground going over the pulley of the water pump and connected a rachet winch from the engine hoist to the rope
tied the rope to a truss
racheted it until it reached the pulley and then grabbed the truss, rolling it over the pulley I pulled it onto the roof
put it aside and did the next
got them all up there and put them in place
built the roof and then dropped the old roof from inside

I'm used to doing things by myself

We put all the structural stuff up by hand...

The beam on the south wall is 5 1/2 x 16" x 27' long.

I understand getting all egyptian on a job.

I want to see you push 5 sheets of plywood up a ladder. :-*

Condo holiday decorating party tonight. We put white lights up in the trees out front and on some fencing. The HOA paid for the ingredients, and I am making homemade eggnog. Gallon of milk, dozen of eggs, 3 cups (one cup each) of rum, brandy and whisky, plus sugar, salt and fresh grated nutmeg. Cookies too!

So full

I let my belt out a notch and undid the button on my jeans

Thursday repeat?    [thumbsup]   Whatever you had, I'm guessing it was delish!

DP:  I'm thinking you'll need to change your name to Casa Constructor, or something of the like.  Awesome work on the house - holy moley that's going up fast (for two old guys and a young buck).   [thumbsup]

Broken record but gotta run.  (Swim actually.)

Ciao!   [beer]   <  hopefully later.

The apparent progress will slow once the frame is complete.

That's when all the other stuff goes inside...

plumbing, electrical, and finish.

That will take longer than everything so far.

From what little I know of home construction, the idea is to get the outside up as quickly as possible so you can take your time working on the stuff inside and not have to worry (as much) about the weather while you run conduit/pipes/wires/etc.

That's true, particularly in New England in Nov/December.

Then factor in living in a cold damp farmhouse, and the motivation is for the whole job to be complete.

I won't be dawdling even if it seems so.   ;)

What'd you eat?

I made Chicken Parmesan

Two chicken breasts, smash em flat so they're about a half inch thick, dip in egg, then bread crumbs,

Olive oil in the pan, add chx, and a lid.  Cook mediumish heat.

Whole wheat angel hair

Pasta on plate, chx on plate, ladle of sauce on each, cover with shredded mozzarella and melt it under the broiler.

Then eat and drink.
