I'll never forget seeing some happy minivan driving family driving down the highway a few years ago with their bagged tree on top of the van (probably singing Christmas carols and talking of their wish list).  Tree is covered with a tarp.  Tarp not secured in back and was flogging every last pine needle off the top half of the tree as they drove 75 down the highway....   Probably thinking that every passing car pointing at them and at their tree was merely a gesture of "hey, nice tree".

And I'm off to go replace a pair of shoes that fell victim to the week.

Not that I want to spend that money but in this case, shoe shopping IS a necessity.

Went to a 60th birthday party for a past coworker today. The asshole boss who fired me for not going out to coffee showed up. He walked in to me surrounded by half his staff in a protective positive position.

Shoe shopping is GOOD!
