Mossberg vs. Nature...

I'm sitting here watching I Am Legend and I get to thinking about reasons why I need a shotgun.

So I'm browsing around the Mossberg site and find their JIC (Just Incase) line of gun.
It has the best tag line ever:

Whether it's survival in the backcountry
or hurricane season on the coast,
one can never be too prepared
for the unexpected.

Seriously, what the make the beast with two backs is a pistol grip shotgun going to do against a huricane?! Are you going to shoot the damn clouds?

When the hurricane levels everything and the zombies come out (and the other people looking to loot) then you will be prepared.  ;D

Ahh...brings back memories of stomping through the desert.  That is a badass weapon.  Love the bayonet!   8)

I got the JIC pack at the VA gun show. I got the 500 mariner. I love it. Picked up a knoxx stock for cheap. WOrkes wonderfully. BUt, I think I want the knoxx butt stock instead. I prefer the grip to a pistol style grip (personal preference).

The "gerber" it came with is a POS. But, that's expected. The case is nice. I use it as a waterproof case now as the gun with stock is too long.
