TIme for a move .... anyone hiring IT folks?

Ok so the bike has been stashed for going on 5 months now as the cold weather and snowy roads are a bit of a hinderance to riding safely. (No I'm not putting spikes in my tires to run the bike all year long) -15C is still F*ing cold.  So here are my requirements

1. It has to be warm where you are at least 10 months of the year, and warm is +10C or about 58-60F (I think)
2. English has to be the language of the work environment.  I'm too lazy to learn another language when I butcher this one so well
3. Management positions are preferred .... but I'll consider DBA, Technical Analyst work as well.

Finally, it has to pay enough to keep the monster fueled, myself feed, and housed.

Bakersfield is pretty much in Central California. Mother and I liked it there when we went through.

If you don't care about humidity, the South has almost year round riding. The big cities in the South are places like Richmond, Charlotte, Atlanta, DC.

Good luck finding a job in this environment.

move to California or more specifically Silicon Valley.  it's gonna be nice weather for riding this weekend.  Bako is just o.k.  was born there and only go back to see relatives.  too flat for me.  i get to ride in hills.

Anything north of Los Angeles should be affordable.

California has awesome roads all over the state.
