The guys over on BARF are making fun of this thread.

After looking at it more closely, I think they have a good reason to do that.  Roll Eyes

I'm really concerned about what a bunch of queers from san fran are saying about my bike?

Probably the thead.. either way. its supposed to be a joke. Guess they dont get it.  At least this thread doesnt have numerous references to anal sex unlike the thread started in SF to mock it.

We're actually pushing the name 1Rider to groups like the California Highway Patrol and other government agencies that we're working with to promote safety and educational programs throughout the state.  They recognize and appreciate the influence of our large and diverse membership in the SF Bay area.  However, BARF is what it will continue to be in the locals' minds, and we're cool wit dat.   Cool

Wow!

I'm truly humbled! The interwebs have put me in my place.

Because of a few enlightened individuals from a city 2700 miles away from me, I'm going to stop riding my Ducati and being proud of its uniqueness among the local motorcycling community.

I'm going to buy and install the first closed-clutch cover I find.

I'm going to stuff my cylinder heads with sawdust to mask that horrible clicking.

I'm going to eschew a completely competent, relatively unique bike for a completely competent run-of-the-mill bike so I can fit in with the masses and find cheaper used parts on eBay.

I am no longer "I," I am now "we."

We are BARF.

Mothermake the beast with two backser is one word, so it would not properly be abbreviated to MF, even though many people do it.

DMF could properly be misconstrued as "Dungeon Master Forum" or "Dick Munching Free-for-all" but never "Dumb Mothermake the beast with two backser."  Only a truckload of morons would misconstrue DMF as that.

Dumbass Manky Fop!

I live in Birmingham AL and ride a 49cc moped to work with plates from Wisconsin.  People constantly stop me on the road or yell out the window "Did you ride that all the way from WI?"

Both.  And I'm sorry for having participated in either one.
