Does this count as In the Wild?

Now that is a COOL pic!  [thumbsup] I love the lettering of sign and the bright colors contrasted with the muted ones highlighted by your Monster with the red wrapping.

Very cool!

That ain't wrapping. It's Jet Hot ceramic coating. [thumbsup] How's that holding up Norris? I've been real tempted to have a couple of my bikes exhaust treated by them. Just been too damn lazy to take off the pipes and send them. Still looking good after a few years or not?
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Still looking okay?  I guess so.  Only the matte red coating was only rated to 1300 degrees.  The coating on the headers up near the exhuast ports if flaking off due to the heat.  The rest looks fine.  Jet Hot has a coating rated at 2000 degrees, though I'm not sure what the color options are.

I think if I were to do it over I would have all the old coating removed and clean the metal very well.  Then I would hit the pipes with multiple layers of VHT header paint.  Even if it flakes off, it would be a breezed to touch up (I've done this before).

Anyone know how hot the headers get at the exhaust ports?  Under 2000 degrees?  I would think so.  If I could get the matte red and could be certain that the coating was rated for the real temps, I would pop the coin to have it done again.  That's a big IF.

500º Duplicolor rattle can paint.  It probably won't last very well, BUT even it I have to refresh it every couple of seasons, it isn't that hard to do.
