Yep Theyre Rizomas... The only thing I dont like about them is they LOVE to play tag with cager mirrors in L.A traffic ;D
Im Heavily considering CRG's and mount them under the bars. Other than that I like them

Damn, so the Rizomas tag mirrors when you're splitting too, huh?  I broke a lady's mirror right off her Honda with the stock mirrors right after I got my Monster.  I was hoping the Rizomas would be better for that purpose.  Don't the CRGs extend the bar length, too?  I really don't want to add any length or have to fool about with flipping my mirrors in and out when I'm on the freeway.  That's why I was shying away from the CRGs.  But does mounting them under the bar reduce that effect?

how about the napoleon or the rizomo revers retros mounted below the bars. i bet that wouldn't touch a mirror ever.

lookin' great JB  [moto] [thumbsup]

Thanks!

I've got more to do to him. Right now, he's just got termi slip ons, open air box, DP ECU, new turn signals, and a shallow seat.

I ordered mirrors from someone on the board but haven't gotten them yet  :-\, carbon fiber shorty tail is gonna come next, then a midpipe.

JB, what mirrors did you get?  I've got some Rizoma Logics that would look good on that bike.  ;)

I bought these:

I like the Rizoma Logics alot but these were a cheap find. I'm hoping I can install them before my bike gets shipped out west.  :-\

If not, ship them to us and we can install them for you when the bike comes through. ;)

2007 S2R 1000 with accessories and mods...

Back in the day I raced 125cc Motocross in both the 125 and Open classes riding Honda then Yamaha.  To say these bikes were modified would be an understatement as the motors were highly modified to produce the maximum amount of power (read usable) within their limited power band, they would just scream.  As for the suspensions they were maxed out as well and probably beyond what the factory engineers and designers had in mind.  Getting it on the pipe and keeping it there to produce as much power as you could and getting to the ground was the challenge.  They were great fun but lead to the search for the perfect tunable and adjustable suspension, the Holy Grail!

Zoom and fast forward to today…. I have always enjoyed riding and I would look at others bikes and think 'would I own that?' to myself.  I have always been partial to BMW and Ducati and one day while talking with a co-worker and friend I discovered that he had a Ducati (S2R 800) and over the course of a few months he proceeded to answers all my questions and provided quite a bit of useful information not only related to Ducati but to other bikes as well.  It wasn't soon after that I would find myself at various dealers checking out different bikes and looking at what was on the 'new' market as well as checking out the 'used' market as well.  Then one day when I had stopped by a local dealer I was checking out what they had on hand I found the bike that I would eventually get, a 2007 Monster S2R 1000.  The interesting thing about this bike is that it had been set up by Ducati as a Show or Press bike with quite a few Performance related and Carbon Fiber items listed in the Ducati Performance Catalog.  Although, I have added a few things so that it better fits me I am very happy with the S2R1000.  It has an enormous amount of torque that pulls from very low all the way up to the higher rpm's and truly it can get up an go!  So even though the dark smoke face shield is down know that I am riding with a smile.  But there is the issue of the suspension... it needs to be improved upon and as I have said I am well aware of the fact that when it comes to suspensions they are the Holy Grail……. And so begins the quest!

Nice JB; but no stripe  ... oh no ... its NACKED!

Thanks hon. I like naked. [thumbsup]

I haven't seen many 800s with this simple color scheme but I'm told it is stock.

I'm planning on a stripe at some point. We all know a stripe makes it faster. [cheeky]
