hey SSSA, well it's a lot different than my Foggy
i'm a big fan of the bmw telelever/paralever suspension setup. much different than the foggy. the front end on the foggy seems a bit more squirrelly compared to the bmw. the bmw's got the duc beat in the canyons where there's uneven and unpredictable surfaces. but the duc's much more flickable and light so it's just a matter of slight compensation on either ride. the best i can describe it is the bmw's got very smooth sort of torque and power, i guess from the shaft drive ,and the duc's got raw power. roll ons on the bmw is like a spinning top whereas the duc's like a catapult.
i can definitely do more miles on the bmw but as i ride the duc more i'm getting used to the riding position. IMHO, it's like apples and oranges, both taste good but just different flavors... [moto] [moto]

I'll try this again. It turns out Picasa is a little different to link to
Spent a little time today cleaning it up
I always thought the trmingnoni stickers look like 40 licks
one more since they don't take up any storage on the DMF site

still have the monster (always will) but I picked up a SV650 last winter for the track. Lacks the torque of my monster, but rides nice otherwise.
Front end swapped for gixxer forks and R1 brakes, and shorty exhaust put on as well. Suspension is awesome, handles great, the power delivery is incredibly smooooth.
As always the mod disease hit... but the bike is done.
Sorry Monstermash, this is where my dual headlights ended up.

You should powder coat those rearsets. I keep waiting for someone to do that. I think it'll look hella sharp. Dig the Termis love mine.
